Using the map

The map shows what’s around you: masājid, halal food and Muslim-owned businesses, and events nearby.

Opening the map

• On your phone: tap the map pin icon at the top of Home. There are also map entries on the Prayer Times screen (Masājid nearby), the Events list (Nearby), and the business directory.
• On the website: open Map in the sidebar.

Choosing what you see

Chips along the top switch each layer on and off — Masājid, Halal food, Services, and Events. On the website the business layer is a single chip, Halal food.

If the map looks quiet, widen the search radius — tap the distance button. It starts at 10 miles and goes up to 100.

Tapping a pin

A card opens with the place’s details — address, phone, and hours where we have them. Use Directions to open it in your maps app. Businesses and events on Ummity also have a view button that opens their full page.

Your location is used only while the map is open, to show what’s close to you. It is never stored or shared.
