Azaan and prayer reminders
Checked against the app on September 3, 2026
Prayer times in the app are your masjid’s posted times — set by your community’s admins, including the calculation method. You don’t need to configure any of that.
What you can set is how the app reminds you.
On your phone
- 1.Open Prayer Times — from the prayer card on Home, or from Profile → Prayer times.
- 2.Tap the gear at the top. The Reminders screen opens.
There you can:
- Turn Prayer reminders on, and choose per prayer: azaan sound, silent alert, or off.
- Pick your azaan sound — Makkah, Madinah, Al-Aqsa, or Abdul-Basit.
- Turn on the Jumu‘ah alert — Fridays only.
- Turn on Travel mode to use your location’s times when you’re away.
- Add the prayer widget to your home screen, and set its style under Widget style.
Reminders are scheduled on your phone and keep working offline.
On Android you can also choose how long before each prayer the reminder fires.
On the website
The website shows your masjid’s adhan and iqamah times — reminders and azaan sounds are phone features.
Times look wrong?
Your masjid’s admins set the times. If something’s off, tell them — admins adjust the times and the calculation method in the community’s admin tools.
